Meet Phuong
Artist, Facilitator and Founder
Creative Lab was founded by Phuong, a former engineer who understands first-hand the demands of high-pressure work environments.
After years working in fast-paced project settings, she experienced the mental fatigue that often comes with constant deadlines, problem-solving, and performance expectations. Through this, she began exploring creative practices as a way to reset, think more clearly, and reconnect with a sense of focus.
What started as a personal tool became something more — a practical way to help others step out of stress and into a more open, engaged state.
Creative Lab brings this approach into the workplace through structured, thoughtfully designed sessions that balance creativity with clarity and purpose. Each workshop is grounded in psychological safety and simple, accessible techniques that require no prior artistic experience.
The result is a calm, human-centred experience that helps teams pause, reset, and return to their work with renewed focus and energy.
Why choose the Creative Lab Workshop?
1. Structured, not just a “feel-good” activity
Unlike many creative or wellbeing workshops that focus purely on enjoyment, Creative Lab is designed as a guided experience with a clear structure.
Using a simple framework (Aim → Hypothesis → Method → Result), participants are led through a process that helps them understand and reflect on how they think, not just what they create.
2. Active, hands-on experience. Participants don’t just listen — they do, observe and experience the shift themselves.
Creative Lab is different:
participants actively create
engage their hands and attention
experience the shift themselves
This leads to higher engagement, stronger memory, and a more impactful experience.
3. A practical mental reset — not just relaxation
This is not just a break from work.
Participants are guided into a different way of engaging with their mind:
from overthinking → observation
from pressure → process
from mental clutter → focused attention
This creates an experience that participants are more likely to remember, talk about, and return to.
4. Memorable, human-centred experience
Compared to traditional wellbeing sessions or standard team activities, Creative Lab offers something different:
a calm, thoughtfully designed environment
a shared creative experience
a moment of genuine pause and reflection
This creates an experience that participants are more likely to remember, talk about, and return to.
5. Built by someone who understands high-pressure environments
Creative Lab is led by a former engineer who has first-hand experience working in demanding, high-stress environments.
This means:
the workshop is grounded in real understanding
examples and language resonate with professionals
the experience feels relevant, not abstract
It bridges the gap between creative practice and real workplace challenges.
